Mission

At Therify, our mission is to maximize the happiness and well-being of humanity by removing barriers to quality care. We are committed to using technology and the power of community to normalize emotional health within underserved communities around the world.

About Therify

Therify is building a future where mental health care will be inclusive, equitable, and accessible to everyone.

We’re turning this vision into a reality by partnering with leading companies like Indeed and Thumbtack to match employees and their families with culturally responsive therapists from similar backgrounds, as well as live community sessions, and self-guided content to support their emotional well-being.

We take pride in leveraging innovative technology and our diverse provider network to address the unique needs of our members, while unlocking access to high-quality care and successful treatment outcomes.

Our members aren’t the only ones excited about what we’re building. We’re backed by world-class investors such as Y Combinator, Harvard Management Company, and Looking Glass Capital.

About the Role

As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for expanding our platform to Therify members across the United States and Canada, with a focus on delivering care solutions that are inclusive and equitable, especially for diverse employee communities.

You will partner with our CEO and Product team to scale access to evidence-based therapy, facilitate group sessions for thousands of members, and grow our network of licensed providers.

Outcomes

  • Member Care: You will take a member-first approach to the role, ensuring that Therify members are connected to therapists who fit their unique needs.

  • Partnerships: You will own our process for recruiting and vetting qualified therapists, ensuring that Therify members have access to the highest quality care.

  • Community Building: You will design best-in-class group models of care that offer members clinically-validated alternatives to individual therapy.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will not operate alone in your work. You will partner closely with our CEO and Product teams to serve the needs of our members.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a combination of the following competencies:

  • Mission-Aligned: You share a passion for making mental healthcare more inclusive and equitable, especially for people from underserved communities.

  • Proven Track Record: You have 5+ years of clinical experience in healthcare services and/or technology.

  • Clinical Expertise: You have an advanced degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or a related field. You are also familiar with measurement-based care and metrics (e.g. GAD7 and PHQ9).

  • Entrepreneurial: You take full ownership of your work and get excited about implementing new ideas (from scratch) to advance the company’s mission.

  • Bias for Action: You don’t wait for instructions. You proactively identify opportunities to better serve our members and execute on them with minimal guidance and supervision.

  • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and share a belief that the best solutions are generated from diverse perspectives.

  • Creative Problem Solver: You think outside the box to generate innovative solutions to challenging problems.
